At the beginning of the story, O'Connor, in the brief story, " First Confession”, may use the all-knowing or perhaps omniscient standpoint. He explains to choose any act in the character and any thought of the character, and he tells the many advantages and the negative side of the persona. Instead the story is crafted in first-person point of view. The narrator from this story is likewise the main character, or leading part. This way someone is let to the see the world inside the eyes of Jackie, wonderful point of view about his grandma, Nora, and Mrs. Thomas, and women on its own.
