The Challenge of Shiloh began in April six, 1862. Federal government forces led by Basic Johnston had been marching towards Corinth, Mississippi. Johnston desired to attack general Grant's military services. He wanted to assault Grant's army just before it was strengthened by General Don Carlos Buell's Military. Johnston was on his mar from Corinth with many unsophisticated soldiers. General Grant's armed service was set up at Shiloh, where we were holding drilling and resting. These were waiting for the reinforcements to arrive. General Johnston found the union camp and waited for the nighttime to plane a bg surpise attack. His plan performed, and no one particular on the union side was ready to deal with. Johnston's armed service pushed backside the Union soldiers, but they began reorganizing farther away from attack. Johnston's army was crushing the Grant's, but finally, the union build a stronghold in a submerged road. Scholarhip told his army to not let go of the sunken street. General Johnston led an attack on the orchard, and after the union surrendered, he told his doctor to go help union subjects. The General was shot inside the leg.
